GENERAL AREA INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION TO BOISE, IDAHO FOR MILITARY REUNION GROUPS!

Location – Boise is located in the Pacific Northwest and convenient from many major airline hubs.  Once here, the Boise airport is only 10 minutes from downtown – and even closer to some of the city’s other hotel and entertainment districts.  All Boise area hotels offer FREE airport shuttles.

Favorite summertime activities for locals and visitors alike includes attending the “Live After Five” free summer concert series on the Grove Plaza every Wednesday.   And visit Saturday Market to purchase local paintings, jewelry, pottery, décor and more, as well as locally grown food and wines.  For sports fans, experiencing one of the many sporting events such as Steelheads Hockey, BSU Football, Hawks Baseball, Stampede Basketball and Les Boise Park Horse Racing is a must.
