Membership Recruitment Area

First, Weapons & Warfare on the Web is NOT a web-ring. We are a community of military web-sites!!! If you want to join our community, participation is required.

Before you are accepted as a member, the membership at large votes to accept your web-site. The will use a form which appears much like the self evaluation form which you will complete below.

Membership Agreement
All of our member Web-Masters must agree to perform the following in order to hold a valid membership. By application, you agree to follow this agreement.

Put the WWW banner on the site’s index page
Participate in new member voting.
* Members may not miss three rounds of voting in a row or else their membership will be suspended. Breaking from voting will be authorized due to extenuating circumstances. In order to receive approval, the web-master must provide an explanation to the Membership Committee detailing their situation.
When voting, provide detailed analysis of web-sites being voted on. Ideas for improvements and reasons for non-approval, etc……. (i.e. not just saying "I don’t like the site", but detailing why, based solely our criteria, you don’t feel it should become a member)
No WWW site will have any pornography or links thereto (this includes sponsor banners)
Encourage sites to join which you feel would be an excellent addition to our community.
If a URL or Email address changes, you must provide updated information to the WWW so that our online database of member sites is up to date.
Member web-masters must also check our WWW Message board from time to time in order to keep up with the ‘goings on’ of our community.
To remove or correctly identify the sources of any material which is judged to be not original.

WWW Membership Application

Please complete the self-evaluation form and then complete the rest of the information at the bottom. When the members vote on your site, they will use a form which contains the same questions as you see below. Ensure that your sites meets or exceeds all of these basic requirements prior to submission.

If you are approved for membership, you will be informed via Email and assigned a sponsor to answer any questions you may have and to assist you in placing your banner and navigating around our web-site. That Email may also conatin some design improvement hints. (who couldn't use a weary eye going over their web-sites?!)

If your site is dis-approved, you will also be informed by Email and provided with a specific list of issues which our membership felt your site did not meet. You will have the option to make the correction, then re-apply.
